How to link/unlink a resource and a course

Learners will be reminded to read any linked resources at the end of their course and before the test.

To link a resource and a course:

1. Click the Settings tab on the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. Scroll down to find the COURSES card and click Course settings.
3. Scroll down to find your course, then click the menu icon on the right of the course’s details to show the course settings.
4. Scroll down to find the LINKED DOCUMENTS & POLICIES card.
5. Click the Link resource button on the right of the card.
6. Type part of the name of your resource into the search box to show a list of matching resources.
7. Select your resource from the list.
8. If you want learners to confirm they have read and understood this resource as part of the course, select the make this resource required reading to complete the course check box.
9. Click Link this resource.

To unlink a resource and a course:

1. Click the Settings tab on the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. Scroll down to find the COURSES card and click Course settings.
3. Scroll down to find your course then click the menu icon on the right of the course’s details to show the course settings.
4. Scroll down to find the LINKED DOCUMENTS & POLICIES card.
5. Scroll down to find the resource you want to unlink.
6. Click the Remove button on the right of the resource’s details.
7. Click OK to confirm.
