How to manage your Two Factor Authentication devices (Beta)

Modified on Fri, 16 Feb 2024 at 10:05 AM

Note You may not have access to this function because it is currently in beta stage of development, that means it is undergoing testing and feedback by clients involved in our beta programme.

Two Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of protection for your data. To learn more, see What is Two Factor Authentication.

You can choose from two methods of authentication:

  • App authentication - Recommended
  • SMS authentication - Available in UK only

iHasco also recommends you download a single-use backup code. If you lose access to your phone you can use the backup code to gain access to your LMS account.

To set up your 2FA devices:

  1. Click the Account icon on the menu bar at the top of the page.
  2. Select Edit my profile from the menu.
  3. Scroll down to find Two Factor Authentication.
  4. Click Manage your two factor authentication devices.
  5. Click on your chosen method of authentication and follow the instructions.
  6. Scroll down to find Backup code.
  7. Click Download code and follow the instructions.
  8. Click Return to profile icon on the menu bar at the top of the page to return to your profile.
  9. Click Save changes.

The next time you sign in, you will be asked to provide a passcode using the method you chose.

Remember, if you experience difficulties you can use your single-use backup code to recover your account.
